Just a reminder for those of you interested in playing in Galion on Thursday nights there will be an organizational meeting Monday night at Peco II Park.

26 game schedule if I get 9 teams. One person will be selected at random to have 1 swing to win a pair of tickets to an Indians game. There will be the opportunity to win $1000 each time you step up to the plate if the 'HIT IT HERE' sign is placed on your field.

Cost will be $650 plus $25 to sanction and league is tenatively set to start the last weekend in April, weather permitting. This is the best Complex to play at in our area. Not knocking Cyclops or Brookside but the fields are all legit 300' and the Baseball diamond is even further.

There will be a USSSA league forming in shelby on tuesdays and thursday nights.just something new most teams havnt played before and want to get away from ASA.have two spots open to give in a 6 team field.any teams interested should contact ken kilgore at (419)610-3725.there will also be an early bird NSA tourney in shelby on saturday april 8.

Slow Pitch Softball Tournaments

WHAT:Big Sonny's Insane Shootout
WHERE:Berliner Park-Columbus,OH
BERTHS:Class C 1 World & 2 Regional-Class D 1 World & 2 Regional
WHEN:April 8,2006 with April 9 being a rain date
FORMAT:3 game guarantee,prefer to have teams in a flight(RR format)with the top 2 in each going to a single elim bracket. Will use the 3 game bracket if final team count doesn't divide by 4
BALLS:Teams will be given 3 new balls at check-in and will have to supply balls after that. Balls will be on site for purchase if needed.
ROSTERS:This is a qualifier so teams must have been assigned a sanction number and online rosters must be filled out and turned in at the tournament site. No names will be added at the tournament site. Do not wait on this as I will be out of town that week after Tuesday.

This is typically very competitive and has had teams from Cincy, Lima, Dayton, Toledo, and Cleveland in the past. Come get some games in the first NSA qualifier of the year in the central Ohio area.
